Q&A

What should I look for in a product to help my dog with arthritis?

"Benji is a 10 year old Westie with arthritis and he takes prednisone. I’d like to give him something more natural to help him."

In my experience, you have very limited options here. You can give him strong narcotics to help with pain, but there are side effects that may make these unworkable as was my experience. There are also drugs you can give him that have deleterious effects on his liver and kidneys (also unworkable for my dog). Finally, you can try acupuncture as I did for $250 per session, and there was no noticeable difference.

Now I have my dog on a combination of Treatibles CBD cookies (one each morning) and a drop of Internal cannabis oil. Its hard to know how much this helps, but he does seem to be less stiff than before. IF nothing else, it makes me feel like I am at least doing something to help him with his pain.

We are not veterinarians and cannot make any health claims about cannabinoids or any of the other ingredients in our products. The results noticed by pet owners using our treats are anecdotal. We have collected data from over 2000 customers and find that Treatibles customers use the product for a myriad of conditions. All animals have an endocannabinoid system which regulates many homeostatic functions and can provide overall health and wellness. Treatibles are safe, non-toxic, and non-habit forming.

Arthritis, inflammation and pain are some of the main reasons why customers use Treatibles, and with great success. I first found out about Treatibles from the owner of a hardware store. His 15-year-old german shephard suffered with arthritis and could barely get up off the ground or walk around. After the dog began taking Treatibles on a regular basis, his mobility improved so much that his owner put Treatibles brochures out at the front register so that other people could learn about the product (like me!) I met the german shephard and from the way that he moved, I would not have known that this dog ever had trouble walking or getting up off of the ground.

The testimonials for CBD use with pets, as posted on the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) website, are similar to the testimonials we receive for Treatibles and include cases where animals who demonstrate difficulty moving around (potentially due to arthritis) showed improvement after taking CBD-laced treats:
