Largest CBD Usage Study Published by HelloMD with Brightfield Group

HelloMD with Brightfield Group today announced the results of a comprehensive study on CBD usage. The study surveyed 2,400 of HelloMD’s 150,000 community members on their usage, knowledge, perceptions, and misconceptions of CBD, making it the largest study of its kind. Overall, the study found that consumers of CBD are very satisfied with its effectiveness for treating a variety of medical conditions including insomnia, depression, anxiety, and joint pain.

  • CBD is most commonly used to treat insomnia, depression, anxiety, and joint pain.
  • 42 percent of CBD users stopped using traditional medications and now use cannabis instead.
  • 80 percent of CBD users found CBD be very or extremely effective for treatment.
  • 90 percent of those surveyed said they would buy CBD-only products derived from marijuana.
