Is Weed Legal in Michigan?

Legalization Status
Recreational cannabis is legal for adults 21+; medical cannabis is legal for adults 18+ and minors with a caregiver.
Medical Documents Requirements
Qualifying patients must be diagnosed with a qualifying condition by a medical doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine licensed in the state. An application fee and required documents must be submitted.
Possession Limits
People can purchase up to 2.5 grams; they cannot possess more than 15 grams of marijuana concentrate at one time. (People may possess up to 10 ounces of marijuana flower in a secure location in their homes.)
Home Growing Limitations
Adult residents 21 and older can grow up to 12 plants in their homes.
