Is Weed Legal in Minnesota?

Legalization Status
Recreational cannabis is currently illegal. Medical cannabis is permitted for patients with qualifying conditions. (Smokable cannabis is only permitted for adults 21+)
Medical Documents Requirements
After a healthcare practitioner has certified a qualifying patient, the patient must complete their enrollment application, provide proof of ID and pay the necessary fee within 90 days of certification.
Possession Limits
The total amount of cannabis purchased in a 23-day period must not exceed the patient’s 30-day supply. Manufacturers must not distribute more than 450 grams of dried raw cannabis per visit.
Home Growing Limitations
: Home growing is currently not permitted.
