CBD has anti-convulsant and well as anti-tumor activity. As with any medication, its effect varies from patient to patient. It would certainly be reasonable to try CBD to see if it will help reduce seizures. Animal studies show that rodents with glioblastoma who are given cannabis (THC) along with chemotherapy have better survival rates than those who receive either THC or chemotherapy alone. If using CBD and receiving chemotherapy, it is important that the physician know that you are using it because it can slow down the metabolism of a number of chemotherapy drugs. That means more careful monitoring of drug levels is important.
