Thanks for your question. The answer depends on what condition for which the cannabis is being used. There are benefits and drawbacks to using any medication, including pharmaceuticals, over-the-counter, and natural or alternative medications. Cannabis, though generally safe, does have side effects and can be harmful in certain situations. I do not recommend using cannabis recreationally for teenagers. Cannabis can affect the developing brain and cause lasting side effects into adulthood.
