It is currently not legal to take cannabis outside of legal states to other states within the US or to travel internationally. Depending on where you travel to, this could be a huge risk as some countries treat this as a felony punishable by imprisonment and in rare cases, death. Some countries are more lenient than others, however, many still have very rigid laws when it comes to cannabis. Even traveling with a marijuana recommendation/prescription will not be enough to protext you if stopped.
