It depends on what is causing the insomnia. For example, if sleep is a problem due to stress and anxiety and the mind not "turning off", then taking small doses of 20:1 during the day can help w/ the anxiety/stress levels and let people fall asleep easier and stay asleep. However, we do not suggest taking 20:1 right before bed b/c it can be stimulating. 1:1 is a good ratio to try right before bed and we recommend that in conjunction w/ certain other types of tinctures if treating something during the day. 20:1 for daytime, 1:1 before bed for anxiety, or possibly Wellness Blend during the day for certain types of pain and 1:1 before bed.
