"I’m trying to figure out how to get relief from middle of the night insomnia. Mainly, I wake up in the 3am hour and cannot fall asleep again. I have some sleepy-time edibles but worry about eating them at that time of the night. I find I have the most success having a small nibble just before I turn in, but that doesn’t last to my 3am wake up. Any advice for me? Much appreciated, thank you."
I’m not sure at what time you go to bed, but edibles do typically last about 6-8 hours; for this reason, an edible indica is helpful for a lot of patients that suffer from middle of the night insomnia. It is possible that increasing your dose might help allow you to sleep through the night. Failing that, you could consider something shorter acting should you wake up in the middle of the night, such as an oral tincture or vaporized medicine.
