Q&A

Wondering from start to finish, how long does it take In IL. to get our card?

Hi there!

Please note our doctors service is currently available to patients physically-located in California and New York.

However, please use this information below as a reference for the steps necessary to obtain a medical marijuana recommendation in the state of Illinois –

  1. You will need to be at least 18 years old

  2. You must be a resident of Illinois and you must be able to provide proof of residency.

  3. You must have been diagnosed by a physician with a debilitating medical conditions with medical records confirming the the diagnosis.

  4. You will need to obtain a written recommendation from a Illinois licensed physician confirming that you would benefit from medicinal marijuana.

  5. After receiving your recommendation, patients are required to register with the Illinois Department of Public Health; After registering, you will be mailed a photo ID that you take with you to visit your local dispensary.

The longest part of the process would be waiting for your photo ID card to arrive, which can take anywhere from 3-7 business days.

I hope this information helps! ๐Ÿ™‚
