Is Weed Legal in Florida?
Legalization Status
Recreational cannabis is illegal. Medical marijuana is permitted for qualifying patients 18+ and minors with a caregiver.
Medical Documents Requirements
Permanent (or seasonal) residents of the state who are diagnosed with a qualifying medical condition by a physician may be entered into the Medical Marijuana Use Registry and can obtain a Medical Marijuana Use Registry Identification Card.
Possession Limits
Patients can possess a 35-day supply limit for cannabis (in smoking form) that should not exceed 2.5 ounces. The maximum of for edibles is no more than 60 mg of THC daily; no more than 350 mg of THC daily in vaporized products; no more than 200 mg of THC daily in oral capsules or tinctures.
