Legalization Status

Recreational cannabis is illegal; medical marijuana is legal for adults.

Medical Documents Requirements

To obtain a medical marijuana card, the patient must fill out the registry application form, obtain written certification by a physician, provide proof of residency and identity and pay the application fees.

Possession Limits

Approved patients are permitted to purchase up to 2.5 ounces from a dispensary in a two-week period.

Home Growing Limitations

Home growing is currently not permitted.
