In a study performed at St. Louis University, researchers surveyed 133 women during annual gynecology check-ups. The results of that survey:
16% said it ruined sex
68% said it made sex more pleasurable
16% had no opinion
Among those who called cannabis sex enhancing:
72% said it always increased their erotic pleasure
24% said it sometimes did
62% said it increased their libidos and the pleasure of orgasm.
16% reported consuming cannabis prior to sex specifically to relieve pain that interfered with it.
In a study performed at Stanford University, researchers conducted the largest study to date. They used data from an ongoing National Survey of Family Growth—28,176 women and 22,943 men, average age 30:
Compared to cannabis abstainers, men who used cannabis weekly, reported 22% more sex; women 34% more. Those who used cannabis more than weekly, reported even higher frequency.
Unfortunately, neither study attempted to discern whether the implied libido boost was due to either THC, CBD, or a combination of both. However, because CBD does not lead to psychoactivity, THC is most likely responsible for the boost.
