Q&A

What conditions qualify for medical marijuana in Florida, and where can I go to get a prescription?

Qualifying conditions for cannabis in Florida are:
Cancer
Epilepsy
Glaucoma
HIV
AIDS
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
Crohn’s disease
Parkinson’s disease
Multiple sclerosis (MS)
Medical conditions of the same kind or class as or comparable to those above
A terminal condition diagnosed by a physician other than the qualified physician issuing the physician certification
Chronic nonmalignant pain caused by a qualifying medical condition or that originates from a qualifying medical condition and persists beyond the usual course of that qualifying medical condition
Any physician who holds an active, unrestricted license and has taken the required course and exam to be qualified to order low-THC cannabis and medical marijuana can write a recommendation for you.

Patients may only purchase cannabis from a state approved medical marijuana treatment centre. If you don’t have a center in locally, you can still fill your order by contacting a center and arranging for delivery.
